What is “analogue”? It’s not easy to sum up in one word. Simply put, it’s the feeling of being alive in the present moment. Analogue artforms and mediums have a personal quality to them, influenced by the human beings who perceive and interact with them.
“Analogue” is about a certain depth of quality too, conveying a broad, rich and textured experience.
Analogue Foundation is based in Europe, the U.S.A. and Japan. We work together to build collaborations, spaces, performances and releases that resonate with the senses, particularly focused on sound and music. Through analogue sound, we become more deeply connected to the world.
Designed by Shhh, Analogue Foundation’s new website has won two industry awards at Awwwards, “Site of the Day” and “Developer Award”. This website is set in the elegant Romie Regular with its unique set of ligatures, designed by Margot Lévêque. Romie is seamlessly blended in some titles with the script Nautica, designed by Resistenza. The sans-serif typeface employed is Acumin, a creation of Robert Slimbach, available on Adobe Fonts.
