Versions of Me is the fifth studio album by Brazilian singer, songwriter, and dancer Anitta. Released in 2022, her mix of funk carioca and reggaeton with trilingual lyrics was a major hit, and became the first Brazilian pop album to reach a staggering one billion streams on Spotify.
Initially announced as Girl from Rio, Anitta decided to change the title, and commented: “Even after millions of plastic surgeries, doctors and interventions… my inside just stays the same”, referencing the many different 3D portraits of her seen on the cover.
Maxime Quoilin, a Belgian visual artist based in New York City, provided the creative direction for the album design. He worked together with photographer Jacob Webster, visual effects wizard Evgeny Mezhibovskiy, CGI artist Polina Zakh and others to bring the six different versions of Anitta to live.
The typography uses Production Type’s Media Sans in caps from the Condensed Black style.
