Nam Yuen was a restaurant on 740 Washington Avenue, in San Francisco’s Chinatown district. In 1959 they renovated, and their logo in Brush Script was rendered in outline for the neon sign.

  1. Found a newspaper ad announcing the renovation that included the sign by Wonderlite, one of San Francisco’s longest running neon sign companies. I updated the date of the Use.

Nam Yuen closed in the early 2000s and the sign was removed around 2014.
