From brand story to architecture and copy tone, British design company Wash Studio started by repositioning the Northern Dough Co. more confidently in the current marketplace.
Working with illustrators they focused on “great food, made together” using playful hands to bring the baking process to life. Rolling out across packaging, a shiny new website, social media launch campaign and advertising specs this project spans film, photography and animation.
For the logo and texts, the designers chose to work with Kent 4F, a woodtype-like design which imitates handwork on a rough surface. It was designed and released by 4th February Type Foundry (Sergiy Tkachenko). In the summer of 2023, the new design celebrated its fourth year in use.
