  1. Hi Juan, did you receive my email? We’d love to learn about the origins of Sita Serif. Is this a custom design?

  2. Juan kindly informed me that Sita Serif is the work of Edouard Berard. It was designed together with Sita Sans as diploma project in the Type Design Master program at ECAL, Lausanne, in 2023, mentored by Kai Bernau and Alice Savoie. From Edouard’s website:

Sita is a family of sans and serif typefaces with origins in the Scotch Roman style. Designed to be set together, Sita Sans and Sita Serif are optically matched for optimal typesetting. Sita’s harmonious texture and intricate details make it suitable for both small and large text sizes.
