We used to have this book while I was at a previous address. The font stood out for me because at the time I was a member of the Twentieth Century Society, who used the Festival font for their logo, probably trying to reflect the Festival of Britain, as a high point in British Modernist design. I was amazed to discover that a book entitled in this way used Festival when I at last put a name to the font I simply thought of as “that font the Twentieth Century Society used” and regretted that I’d not kept hold of the book so I could make a font use contribution, so thanks for this, Nick!
