Gece is the second studio album of Amsterdam’s Anatolian rock band Altın Gün, released in 2019 by GlitterBeat.
Motter Ombra is used on the cover for the name of the band. The title of the album is set in Zipper.
Both typefaces can also be found on the vinyl sticker, the compact disc surface, and the back cover of the album. Additional information is written using Helvetica
The layout and design is credited to Frank Maston. The album art is by Marina Tadic, and the photography on the back by Rona Lane.

The version of Motter Ombra that was used here is an anonymous and unauthorized freebie digitization made in 1998 that floats around on the internet. It’s not well drawn and exhibits a number of differences.
Shown below is the official digitization by Motter Fonts at the top, with the freebie at the bottom. See for example the height of the lowercase l (el) compared to the caps, the top of t, and the kink in the top right curve of n.
Neither version includes the Turkish ı (dotless i). For the cover, this glyph was added ad hoc. Unfortunately, it’s too tall – it should align with the stem of n.
