Courage is third second album by Haitian compas band Les Gypsies de Pétion-Ville. It was released in 1973 by Macaya Records, with cover photography by Dominique F. Simon.
The origin of the bold geometric caps ith half-open letterforms is unclear. Dan X. Solo showed it as Eclipse in his Art Deco Display Alphabets in 1982. There is a digital version under this name that originated at Compugraphic and is now being sold by Monotype. Another digitization made by Tim Ryan in 1997 used to be available as Eclipse Caps from Type Revivals.
