First focusing on music, surf and skate-related youth culture, over the (getting nearer to) two decades since, Huck has grown to cover a broader range of alternative culture in print, video, and digital. The latest slick-looking edition sees a new team take to the helm, including Josh Jones off of Marvin, Pavement Licker and more (Celebrities in Ramen is a personal favourite). Inside, the magazine feels vibrant and self assured—with famous faces including musician Self Esteem, skateboarder Leo Baker and, on the cover, hip-hop’s Denzel Curry photographed by Matthew Salacuse.
