A beautiful invoice used in 1934 by Art et Décoration M. Delmas, a manufacturer and retailer of lighting, vases, and other decorative articles, located in Montauban, southern France.
The geometric sans is Futura, sold in France by Deberny & Peignot under the name Europe, here used in several weights. The wide grotesque is Ronsard, Warnery’s version of Industria. The small print at the left appears to be set in Cheltenham or similar – this design was available from Fonderie Olive in Marseille as Americaines Nouvelles.
The two styles used for the company name are lettered. For approximating the wide Art Deco caps with digital fonts, one could use Impetus Inline or Aliment.
