Acerca was born as a community in 2013 to bring together artists and fans with similar interests. For ten years it has been a connection point in the main art book fairs in Brazil and South America, publishing books, creating unlikely products and producing unique audio-visual content.
For almost a year I worked repositioning the brand and redesigned the entire identity. Some conceptual paths were taken to mitigate branding errors. I had a low budget, but high quality design expectations, so the visual language was formed by modular geometric shapes, solid bright colors and a hard finish style. I used Arial, the most common system font used in almost textual applications because it’s free. It was a challenge to create cutting edge graphics with so many limitations.
