This is a promotional letterhead used by the staff of the Bible House in Allegheny, Pennsylvania in the 1880s. The Tower Publishing Co. later became the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society.
“Tower Publishing Co.” is set in Cirrous, a decorative typeface by the Cleveland foundry, patented on 28 October 1884. The blurbs at the top, “A Remarkable Book!” and “A Book for the Times”, use a similar design: Bijou was cut by Herman Ihlenburg for MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan, and patented on 22 May 1883. “Millenial Dawn” is set in Old Style Extended or similar. The other typefaces – the script and the romans including the wide one for “Zion’s Watch Tower” – are yet unidentified.
