Cardinal Edition’s paperback version (C-375, 1960) of Playback, a story about a case by private detective Philip Marlowe. The last completed novel by Raymond Chandler (1888–1959), it was first published in the United Kingdom in July 1958.
The author’s name appears to be in Gaucho, set on a bouncing baseline. The title might be lettering in a similar style, featuring an a with a larger aperture. Cover art by William Rose.
