Grafikmagazin, issue 3, 2022

Grafikmagazin is a German publication for graphic design. The third issue of 2022 (the magazine’s second year) was about ‘creative paper’, showcasing various printing industry partnerships such as Kurz (foils), Hinderer + Mühlich (embossing), and Gräfe Druckveredelung (expertise in hot stamping)

Swiss art director Dennis Moya Razafimandimby designed the cover design, playing with words related to the paper industry. The two colored embossed foils where already chosen by the Grafikmagazin team. The cover typography pairs Atacama and a few contrasting styles of Baikal – both from NewGlyph – with DarkMatter from Altiplano.
