From charity Migrant Offshore Aid Station (MOAS):

In support of Refugee Week 2022, MOAS has been working with the Manchester based Studio Treble and a network of talented artists and creatives to generate a suite of artworks in the theme of ‘Family Reunification’ – a key part of MOAS’ work in the promotion and support of ‘Safe & Legal Routes’ for migrants and refugees worldwide.

This creative piece To-gether visually represents MOAS’ work through the metaphor of a piece of paper. Taking the audience on a journey; from a single A4 sheet that was trimmed and separated, to being bound back together and reunited in a whole new format. Highlighting the fact that family and friends, belong, to be loved, to-gether. Animation was introduced to elevate the story behind the concept and format.

Neue Haas Unica was chosen for its functionality, relaxed friendliness and clarity, without detracting attention away from delivering an important message.

This work has square and rounded punctuation. If I recall correctly, only the Lineto revival of Haas Unica has this option.

Are we sure this is the Linotype version?

Meanwhile, Linotype Neue Haas Unica includes small caps which is important for setting body text.

  2. Laura Jane, the contributor and designer, did tag Neue Haas Unica. To my knowledge, it’s correct what you say about LL Unica77 being the only version to feature both square and round dots. However, the round comma seen in this use doesn’t match the one in LL Unica77. Also, the ampersand looks like the one in Neue Haas Unica. I’d assume that the round dots are modifications made by the designer.

    1. The ampersand seen in the use. 2. In Neue Haas Unica, the ampersand’s are reaches the same height. 3. In LL Unica77, it’s a tad shorter.

  3. Hi there, thank you both for your comments. I’ve double checked and can confirm the font is Neue Haas Unica with the exception of the comma and the dot on the I which were both modified for the design. Thank you :) Laura

  4. Thanks for confirming. Laura!
