Flyers for Dada Nights, every Thursday at Hanabar, San Pedro Garza García, Mexico, with music, art, beer, wine, sake, and food. The event series is inspired by Dadaism and Japanese monsters.
The communication is inspired by the same Dadaism: it tries to keep an image under the radar, with printed and scanned flyers. The fonts in use seek to maintain a different essence, not so legible, using mostly digital fonts made in the studio. Flyers include different photos of analogue and digital objects mostly used in music.
Following Dadaism and Fluxus, this time we took Edward Fella as inspiration for the deconstructive forms.
Dada Nights is not only a place to explore new music, presenting new talent every Thursday, but also as a way to explore new graphic ideas in every flyer.
Most of these fonts can be found on our studio site at dumdum.studio and in our digital catalog.
