Demand More for Mental Health campaign
In collaboration with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Ultravirgo created the strategy and design for the organization’s yearly Mental Health Awareness Month campaign. With rallying cry #MoreForMentalHealth, and an overall narrative focused on demands for five key issues that the organization is championing – more accessible and affordable care, more school-based education, more funding for 988, more provider support and more lifesaving research – the campaign focused on empowering people to become advocates.
Capturing the urgency and the determination of this important advocacy, Ultravirgo produced a bold campaign look-and-feel that utilizes vibrant colors and the typeface ABC Gravity, which widens and condenses to allow headlines and demands to fill the space, as large, loud, and proud as possible.
The campaign microsite includes AFSP advocacy content, a legislation-focused public policy action center, and a custom demand-artwork “generator” – encouraging participation through personalization, with user control over the message and visuals – that produces shareable digital posts to amplify the AFSP community’s calls to action.
