This book gathers the final selection of texts from an essay contest organized in 2011 by the Government of the Province of Córdoba in Argentina. The essays were written by women researchers and cover the life and work of exceptional female figures who contributed substantially to the history of the region in various aspects, social, political, artistic and scientific. Edited by Reyna Carranza and illustrated by Cecilia Berry, the book was designed by Santiago Guerrero using Borges in the main texts and Borges Poema for the titles and selected verses (both types by Alejandro Lo Celso, PampaType).
