Boquébière is a microbrewery located in downtown Sherbrooke. Growth of the business was constrained by the mandatory closure of the bar during the Covid-19 pandemic. A beer can project was then put in place to ensure the stability of the company. The challenge of this project was to support the owners of the BOQ in this process so that the graphic choices were consistent with their mid-term objectives.
A new packaging platform has been developed to showcase the products while considering the atmosphere of the microbrewery. Obviously, the BOQ stands out for its rather “punk-trashy-underground” side with its performance hall which hosts small events and emerging artists. This is why illustrations created in collage were produced to represent the quirky spirit of this legendary bar.
Windsor is used for the ber names, with subheaders set in Windsor Elongated. Information is typeset in Neue Montreal.
