The Aldi brand kokett uses HVD’s Mikado. Unfortunately, one cannot find an entry for Mikado here. I find Mikado and Diamonds successful typefaces for such applications. By that I mean unless anyone thinks one could use it for text.
Kurt, Fonts In Use is a collaborative effort, and open to contributions. If you want to share an in-use example for Mikado, feel invited to prepare a submission. All you need is images that show the font(s) in use (with credits/source info) and a description text: what is this about, what’s noteworthy about the chosen fonts and how they were used? Your opinion is welcome. You can make the moderation team happy by including as much meta data as is available to you: who designed this? When and where was it made? See also the FAQ.
No. Fonts In Use reproduces content under the doctrine of Fair Use. Our intent is commentary, criticism, news reporting, research, teaching, library archiving, and scholarship. It’s not like you’d be using the images to sell a competing brand of tissues or toilet paper. For additional information on Fair Use, see this page by the Digital Media Law Project.
