Clint Eastwood directed and starred in The Eiger Sanction, a 1975 American spy/action/thriller movie. He plays an unlikely character called Jonathan Hemlock, art professor, mountaineer, and retired government assassin.
The film is notable mainly for the realistic climbing sequences filmed in Monument Valley, USA, and the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland.
The Venture typeface (VGC, 1972) looks suitably rugged and craggy, but also appears to be slightly squashed vertically.
