Beat Weekend festival is held annually in October in 15 major Russian cities, presenting hits from the current year’s Beat Film Festival program. The goal of the project is to give viewers across the country the opportunity to see new documentaries about cultural phenomena and heroes that feel intriguing and relevant. Beat Weekend has become a significant cultural event in each of the cities it operates.
The identity is inspired by the dynamic experiments and the overlay of the program films stills, which helps visually develop the stories of the film heroes. The variety of the different festival formats is highlighted by the bright color palette.
Favorit is used as the festival’s typeface. In the logo, it’s combined with parentheses from Apoc.
