We collaborated with local band Clubz and created an aprés sport inspired collection, to celebrate their eighth anniversary.
We chose Mexcellent to commemorate the 1968 Olympics in Mexico. It’s paired with Reforma Sans, the first typeface designed by Mario Julián under the tutelage of and in collaboration with Aldo Arillo. This typeface is inspired by the street where Dum Dum Studio is located. In addition, we used Serial A and Clarel Serif to reflect both the graphic style of Dum Dum and the aesthetic and vibe of Clubz. Kozuka Gothic is used for some Japanese bits.
The merch was designed by Mario Julian and screen printed by Presuntos Impresores. Photos by Regina Delgado. The flyers to announce the launch were designed by Regina Delgado. The collection is available from Dum Dum Studio’s online store.
