Colony House – Only The Lonely album art
Only The Lonely is the sophomore studio album by indie rock band Colony House. The album was released January 13, 2017. Taking inspiration from the Beach Boys’ Pet Sounds album art, it features the band name and the album title in differing colors, both in the now iconic typeface Cooper Black. In juxtaposition to the Beach Boys, Colony House have made their band name the color white, whereas the album name Pet Sounds is in white on its album art. Cooper Black appears on Only The Lonely’s front cover, the tracklist on the back, and the CD itself. It’s also used for the names of the band members and the song titles in the booklet. Lyrics and credits are set in Futura. The Tennessee Williams quote uses italic caps from Futura Extra Bold Condensed.
