Ich sitze da, als wäre ich nicht vorhanden, Festival Rümlingen 2021
The focus of this year’s Festival Rümlingen was the Swiss author Robert Walser, who wrote pages and pages of texts in a tiny, almost illegible script. At first glance, the sheets look as if they consist only of grids and areas. In the design of the book, Neeser & Müller aimed to reproduce a similar aesthetic by incorporating grid elements and using a special layout. The book is set in Rekja designed by Anton Studer. The title is rendered in caps from several weights of Britannic.
The 2021 edition of the festival comprised four new musical theater plays, two extended walks, and the annual conference of the Robert Walser Society.
Ich sitze da, als wäre ich nicht vorhanden. Robert Walser und die Musik. Spaziergänge – Musiktheater – Kongress was edited by Lydia Jeschke and published by Festival Rümlingen. 120 pages, hardcover, 115×230 mm, with illustrations by Fréderic Diart.
