Single artwork for hip hop artist LC Alexander’s new single, “Golden Time.”
The photography and art direction was inspired by Marvin Gaye’s “Mercy, Mercy Me” and “Come Get to This” record sleeves.
The artist’s name and title are set in tightly spaced bold caps from ITC Avant Garde Gothic. The small text on the top combines three typefaces: “Recorded In” is Termina, “HI-FI” is NF Ultra, and “Stereo” is Archive Antique Extended. Backside lyrics are set in ITC Souvenir.
