The paperback edition cover of Shoplifing from American Apparel was designed using the tightly spaced Neue Helvetica that is part of American Apparel’s identity. Sure, an easy solution, but anything different would be a mistake. A mistake that was unavoidable with the earlier hardcover edition below because ITC Conduit is the house style of Melville’s Novella series.
This cover was a winner in the 2012 50 Books / 50 Covers competition.
