  1. The jacket for Putnam’s edition (shown is the second impression from 1961) uses some charming bichromatic lettering. I don’t know if the wide shaded Tuscan with bifurcated serifs is based on a typeface. Carlyle Acanthus or Carnival Open come somewhat close.
