Abril Fatface is the font used for the header zone of the free-to-use WordPress theme Lyretail. First released in February 2015, Lyretail is based on Underscores by Automattic, Inc. and was designed by Mel Choyce, based in Boston, Massachusetts. Abril Fatface is the second-heaviest style of the Abril Display series by TypeTogether. It was made available under the SIL Open Font License in 2011.
The images below show the theme’s header as customized for the two blogs “Bananas For Breakfast” and “Girls Of The Golden East”. These are both authored by Christopher Bentley.
