MDY, “Phantasm” issue, 2021

MDY (Month Day Year) is a French cultural magazine questioning innovation across fashion, philosophy, design, culture, art and technology. The Phantasm issue, is a 272-page object between magazine and book, art-directed by Pierre P. Marchal using a number of highly expressive fonts, including History (on the cover), the Q Project and Q Project Mechanic (in the book interior), all three from Typotheque. Boogy Brut Poster from Bureau Brut, and FB Moderno from Font Bureau are used for the running text.
