Two Filmotype faces – Quentin, a contoured and shaded all-caps face with bifurcated serifs and Warlord, a Western-style slab with horizontal contrast – set on a curve for the cover of Roar Along With The Singing 20’s from 1959. “The Johnny Mann Singers” is set in the dreiviertelfett style from Venus Extended. The song names use Cairo, Intertype’s adaptation of Memphis.

Design by Pate/Francis & Associates, with a photo by Garret-Howard.
