Alegreya and Alegreya Sans are used throughout Será su nombre. Textos dramáticos (“It will be your name. Drama texts”) – an e-book about theater that contains chronicles and notes by the author, previous studies and technical sheets of each theater play, and the theatrical texts.
This project’s goals are to define and design the paratextual elements and generate the environments and identities of each section (notes, studies, technical sheets, and theatrical texts) so that the reader could quickly adapt to the reading situation that each text requires and, on the other hand, the intention and decision to translate and transfer the elements from the paper book to the digital book.
A short description of the process is:
1– structure the content and define each reading paradigm with its identity and internal hierarchies,
2– design the ‘guide’ elements, which are the compass that guides the readers so that they can quickly locate themselves in front of the text, knowing in advance what type of reading you are about to face, be it a chronicle, a study, a file or a play,
3– analyze the potential of each format (pdf, ePub, and mobi) to optimize the resources and their expressive possibilities.
This is the first book published by Saverio Editorial, an Argentinean publishing house located in Neuquén (Patagonia) specialized in performing arts books. This book is available through the Google Play store.

«Será su nombre. Textos dramáticos» es un libro de teatro que contiene crónicas y apuntes del autor, estudios preliminares y fichas técnicas de las obras, y los textos teatrales.
Este proyecto tuvo como objetivos definir y diseñar visualmente los elementos paratextuales y generar los entornos e identidades de cada sección (apuntes, estudios, fichas y obras) para que el lector pudiera adaptarse rápidamente a la situación de lectura que cada texto requiere y, por otro lado, la intención y decisión de traducir y trasladar los elementos del libro de papel al libro digital.
Los pasos fundamentales en el desarrollo de este proyecto fueron: estructurar el contenido y definir cada paradigma de lectura con su identidad y jerarquías internas, luego diseñar los elementos «guía», que son la brújula que orienta al lector para que este pudiera ubicarse rápidamente frente al texto, sabiendo de antemano a qué tipo de lectura está por enfrentar, ya sea una crónica, un estudio, una ficha o una obra, y el último punto fue analizar la potencialidad de cada formato (pdf, ePub y mobi) para optimizar los recursos y sus posibilidades expresivas.
