The Prince of Wales Hospital Foundation (POWHF) is a not-for-profit organisation that fundraises to support the work of The Prince of Wales Hospital. They have been working with Fresco for many years.
When we designed their brand guidelines we elaborated on where and when to use these fonts. Open Sans is used for body copy and long-form written material as it has great legibility and there are several available font weights in the Open Sans font family.
Our secondary corporate typeface is Fjalla One. Fjalla is a display typeface and is intended for use in infographics, headings and subheadings etc. It contrasts well with Open Sans and reiterates the foundation’s vision of future-proofing healthcare.
The ‘personality’ typeface is Verveine – whilst used sparingly for quotes and select words, it’s hand-drawn nature adds some humanity to otherwise quite corporate digital documents and creates a more casual and approachable tone (taking the brand away from coming across as too clinical).
