About Kirsten Astrup & Maria Bordorff:
Working in an interdisciplinary field of film, music and performance, they have made film cabarets their primary form of expression. Currently, Astrup & Bordorff are working on the last chapter in a trilogy about the Danish welfare society and the loss of common values.
The duo’s website is entirely set in Surt (Blaze Type), and for the main menu we find a custom version of it with geometric shapes. Alongside a fine iconography, Surt is used as body text and legends. The well proportioned grid of the website gives a comfortable reading experience of the text, and also a good view of what Surt looks like when used perfectly.
