A collaborative cookbook produced for the designer’s wife’s Amish–Mennonite family. Two-color risograph printing by Clatter Press gives the publication a playful “midcentury Amish-country tourist ephemera” energy, which is reinforced by the typography.
The book uses Gimlet in Micro and Deck weights (as opposed to Text and Display, respectively) to produce a “low-resolution” traditional-printing effect. The sunburst motif on the cover as well as the decorative arrows throughout the book come from Eames Ornaments.
