Mind-boggling diagram, published as a wall poster, of the longest sentence – 958 words in “Cities of the Plain” – to be found in the Moncrieff translation of Marcel Proust’s À la recherche du temps perdu (In Search of Lost Time). The display typeface is italic Bookman Swash with alternates.

    I gave my 1970's copy of the longest sentence diagrammed poster to my niece when she became an English teacher -—and she doesn’t know what she did with it !!!! I guess that’s gratitude for you !!

    I’d LOVE to purchase another copy of this poster if it’s possible …

    I finally found my copy (had a teacher in college who had one on her office wall) after having maintained an alert on eBay for over a decade!
