La Septième Obsession, issue 30, “Girl power”
A new formula and layout (September/October 2020) for the French cinema magazine La Septième Obsession. This new issue is dedicated to girl power in cinema (from Cinderella to Wonder Woman), with a 70-pages focus on the topic.
Main changes concern the creation of a new section “Première pages” (first pages) which consists of several short texts about documentary, costumes, novels, direction of photography along with TWK Everett by Nolan Paparelli.
The main topic “Obsession” is now more aerated and features a colored layout (which will change according to the main theme of the magazine). The typography uses Grandmaster by Lucas Descroix and a new serif is introduced for the text – Lyon by Kai Bernau. Surt from Matthieu Salvaggio (Blaze Type) is the accompanying sans serif.
The magazine also features Monopol (drawn by David Gobber), Formula Condensed (Pangram Pangram), and two more Blaze Type fonts: Apoc and Oroban.
New grid for critics ratings separated in two categories: new releases on the left and heritage films on the right.
