The logotype for Esvagt, a Danish ship services company, is set in ITC Avant Garde Gothic Bold, including the famous alternative forms for V and A. The E, however, seems to be entirely custom-made, possibly inspired by the round E in ITC Busorama.

Incidentally, Eliott Grunewald recently released a typeface named Herbus. It’s obviously a medley of various typefaces by Herb Lubalin, in two all-caps weights. Unfortunately, the designer doesn’t mention the shoulders on which Herbus stands, beyond the hint in the name, but hopefully a description text will be added eventually. Most of the glyphs follow ITC Busorama, with some elements borrowed from Avant Garde Gothic (e.g. M, Q) and ITC Serif Gothic (D). Both Busorama and Serif Gothic have that uncial E. To my knowledge, such a form was indeed not included in Avant Garde Gothic.
This is the best logo for a nautical company I’ve ever seen.
BTW, “Esvagt” is Danish for “Guard.”
