The aim of the longterm project Stadt.Wand.Kunst is to turn Mannheim’s gray walls into a public gallery to build the first free accessible Museum for Mural art in all of Baden-Württemberg: the Open Urban Art Museum Mannheim! Also there is often an exhibition at the Alte Feuerwache Mannheim with the documentary of Stadt.Wand.Kunst.
All the graphic design media , including the mural map, was originally base-created by Juliane Gutschmidt (Gestaltung Mannheim)
Juliane Gutschmidt created the Re-design in 2019 and shaped corresponding media with the new visual language. To implement an architectural look, Gutschmidt searched for a modern and geometric appeal, using Lemur by Tightype.
The logo displays an abstract silhouette of a scissor-lift platform. The shape consists of three wide X letters, all stacked. The design language of the symbol comes from the logotype. On the right part of the logo there is a three-line word mark, Stadt.Wand.Kunst. The logo is flexible and separable, it has up to 6 variants, designed for various uses.
The Job was designed to create a ground for prospective adaptions (The media parts are now altered)
