Pasatiempos Modernos (“Modern Hobbies”) is not an oxymoron. Modern Hobbies is a remix of the crossword puzzle, the self-defining, the battle of the sea, and other classics along with many new games adapted to modern life. A gluten-free alphabet soup, an emojiglyph, a thousand-year-old dictionary, visual acuity tests to distinguish the runner from the impostor and the 7 differences between two versions of the iPhone are just some of the more than 70 challenges included in this volume.
Pasatiempos Modernos Vol. 1 was designed by Rebeka Arce and illustrated by Ari Schneider. Published by Happy Ideas with a foreword by Pepe Colubi, this is “the pastime of the generation without time”.
