Stripes in use for the cover of “Leon Berry at the mighty Wurlitzer Theatre Pipe Organ – ‘The Beast in the Basement’”, released by Audio Fidelity in 1973.
Ron Warwell’s cover design presents not only an early use of Tony Wenman’s multiline face, it’s a chromatic one, too. Chances are the multicolored treatment was inspired by Letraset USA’s Graphic Art Products Catalog issued in the same year. The secondary text is set in caps from Blippo Black.
