Darden Studio’s Halyard is the typeface for Demos.org. The website uses various styles of the Halyard family, from two of its three optical sizes.

With compact vertical proportions and tight spacing, Halyard Display is optimized for larger sizes. Its Bold weight is featured for headings. Halyard Text is distinguished by more open shapes and lends itself to being used in smaller sizes and for longform text. The Text subfamily appears in six of its eight weights, and additionally in some italic styles, for a finely graduated typographic hierarchy. As a sans serif with multiple optical sizes and styles, Halyard can perform a wide array of tasks, and at the same time keep everything nicely coordinated within one family.

Founded in 2000, Dēmos is a liberal NGO with the stated mission to “power the movement for a just, inclusive, multiracial democracy.” Their new website was designed by ThinkShout and launched in 2019. The Dēmos logo uses Brandon Grotesque.
