Timbuktu feat. Snoh Aalegra – “AOD”
Jason Diakité, aka Timbuktu, is a Swedish rapper and author. The single “AOD”, released in May 2020, is his second collaboration with R&B singer-songwriter Snoh Aalegra.
Erik Herrström, in charge of the graphic design, writes:
In 2020, Swedish Rapper Timbuktu was set off to release his latest single called AOD with singer Snoh Aalegra. I was briefed to create a cover for the single as well as a visual identity that felt fresh and that could live by itself as teaser. Due to the ongoing pandemic did we also face the challenge of not being able to photograph the two artists together. With this in mind, we created a solution where they were shot individually and put together through composition.
The identity uses Pilat Extended in all caps, paired with a bit of lowercase Nostra Stream.
