Special silver glitter one sheet (27″×40″) poster for Buffalo 66 (Lions Gate, 1998). From Empire:
Billy Brown (Gallo), just out of prison, returns to his grim hometown of Buffalo, New York, and impulsively grabs Layla (Ricci), a tap dance student, because he has told his parents he is away on government work and needs someone to pretend to be the wife he claims to have married. Surprisingly, Layla goes along with the scheme and works hard to impress Billy’s weird parents, football-obsessed mom (Anjelica Huston) and brutal crooner dad (Ben Gazzara).
From the movie title – with letters enhanced with actual glitter – to the billing block, all typography is set with Compacta, ranging from the narrow Light (billing block) via Bold (credits with shadow effects) to the extended Black style, used for the movie title. Light and narrow were part of Letraset’s initial release of Compacta in 1963; the Black style was added in 1976.

I have this glitter poster. New, still in carton. How much is it worth?
@Charles Graber – How much you want for it?
I made that poster. It was a challenging project. I’ll leave at that.
Thanks for letting us know. I have added the credit.
Vincent Gallo told me himself that Jin Pak had no hand whatsoever in designing this poster, and he did everything himself. His name should be removed from the credit and replaced solely with Vincent Gallo.
Thanks, Garrett. I’ve added Gallo’s name.
Obviously I have no way of knowing whose claim is correct or not. I don’t know you, nor Pak, nor Gallo. Since there’s a dispute, I’ll follow our policy and include all claims until there’s evidence from a verified source. Thanks for your understanding.
I can send you the evidence if you contact me.
