Trafton’s Cartoon (Bauer, 1936) was chosen for a record with “authentic Jazz interpretations of the greatest Dixieland hits by many of the world’s most talented musicians” including Bobby Byrne (1918–2006) and Will Bradley (1912–1989, no relation to Will H. Bradley), released by Grand Award Records (G.A. 33–310) in 1955. The illustration is titled Jass Band, painted by David Stone Martin (1913–1992). Artist names and track titles are set in all-caps Futura Condensed. In further roles: Venus breit dreiviertelfett and Kursiv fett. The “Grand Award” logo uses Caslon 540 Italic, with roman capitals.
