A bichromatic (pink and orange) use of Filmotype Vodka with alternating glyph colors for the cover of Show Spectacular, recorded by the All Star Show Orchestra conducted by Enoch Light, and released by Grand Award Records (G.A. 228 S.D.). The illustration is by Tracy Sugarman.

Issued in 1955, Vodka is an outlined and shaded variant of Pueblo, a bold member of Filmotype’s “Free Style” range. It’s more animated than Major or Power.

“New Recordings of Hit Songs from Broadway’s Greatest Shows in Spectacular Stereophonic Sound” is set in Venus Extended (breit dreiviertelfett), with Venus fett Kursiv for emphasis. Futura is used for the track list.
