Katea identity and website

Katea is a consultancy for architectural structures. They needed the complete design of their brand and website. The aim was to create a simple, clear and consistent brand according with its values. The name of the brand comes from the catenary, which is the ideal curve generated by a chain suspended from both ends. The arch it generates is an optimal structure in architecture and widely used by great geniuses like Gaudí.

The entire identity was designed using Roobert Regular (Displaay Foundry).

For the logo, we redesigned the letter K from two catenary curves. The color palette is composed of neutral and timeless colors, present in many materials of architectural structures. The rest of the identity is based on the composition of the text, generating different structures from the game that the alignment of paragraphs and lines of text generates, to reinforce the design concept of complex architectural structures.
