In these days dominated by the Corona virus, Berlin’s public transport company (BVG) calls to keep your distance – “H A L T E T A B S T A N D !”. The letters of the hashtag set an example and exhibit considerably increased spacing. The font in use is the Bold Italic from the BVG’s corporate typeface, FF Transit. The profile name (rendered in the operating system’s respective sans serif, here San Francisco) temporarily got extra spaces as well. Even the (custom) letterforms of the logo follow suit. Do so, too, and stay at home.
The motto “Weil wir Dich lieben” (“Because we love you”) is at the heart of the BVG’s communication since 2015. The award-winning campaign was developed by GUD.berlin.
