Car and Driver, the famously irreverent auto magazine is newly redesigned, with lots of Interstate used for text and display, in condensed and regular widths. Headings and other large texts feature Gliko Modern and Gliko Modern Condensed. Body copy is set in Freight Text.
The magazine kept the existing nameplate, which has been used since August of 1966. (More precisely, the 1966 nameplate had “and” in lowercase. The current design, with “AND” in caps, debuted in May 1983.) It looks like Helvetica Compressed, perhaps with some redrawing.

The November issue uses a new face for the body copy…looks like a member of the Gliko family.
Thanks for the update, Chris!
