Come Eravamo book series
Come Eravamo is a book series in 20 volumes, in which Alberto Angela traces the life of Italians through the centuries, from their origins to the unification of Italy. Each volume is divided into two parts: a short fictional novel telling the story of a family and its daily life in a specific historical-geographical context, followed by a section going more in-depth with information on habits, objects, places and traditions that accompany the story. The second part is illustrated by a wide array of images, from historical material to commissioned illustrations.
The entire book series has been designed by Rome-based Studio Mistaker. They set all content with only one typeface family: Suisse Works.
